Riot Nrrd

Yes! A shiny new zine from my brain and hands is here for you. You can get it in print or as an ezine! It is about abortion. It is also about birth. It is a brief introduction to what and who must be included in the struggle for reproductive justice (spoiler alert: it’s literally everybody). Twelve pages, lots of illustrations. I hope it will be a resource worth sharing.

I apologize for the unannounced hiatus here at Riot Nrrd. It wasn’t intentional; I got a new part-time job this month and my downtime has been eaten up with other responsibilities. The next strip is in the works, but it’s become a slooow process lately. If you’re frustrated with checking back to no avail, remember that I will always always give updates on twitter or facebook when there’s new stuff here.

Thanks to everyone who stopped by to meet me at MICE, I was stressed out of my mind when I arrived in Cambridge and almost called it off, but I ended up having an excellent time! The atmosphere reminded me of TCAF, which is a pretty cool accomplishment for a small, uncurated show.

Final note: if you live in NYC, you can catch me (and over a dozen wonderful talented trans authors) at the release event for The Collection on October 16th at the Housing Works Bookstore and Cafe! There are other Topside Press events in Philly, Portland, Salt Lake City and at Barnard College coming up soon, so check those out too!
