Maria and Charlie read comic books under a blanket. Charlie is on his back.
MARIA: And then they’re inside the treehouse and Jake says “Ok dude, one, two, three!†and they fist bump.
MARIA: And Finn says, “Awesome!†and there’s a worm in the treehouse that looks surprised.
CHARLIE: Mmm, it’s like I’m really there in the Land of Ooo.
Maria and Charlie look dreamily at each other.
Charlie and Maria kiss.
CHARLIE: I really need to start packing.
MARIA: Yes, oooor we could try to fix this blanket fort again?
Maggie K, that was my first take too. The fact that Charlie is looking down as he says it helps. But then I couldn’t figure out where blanket forts fit into the picture.
Awww. It’s nice to see them happy together.
Am I the only one who first read that as “packing” in the sense of sticking appropriately shaped things in your pants?

That’s all I think of any time anyone ever says packing. Back to school binder ads also amuse me.
