Yep, I sure did research programs at Berkeley and then continue to spell “Berkeley” incorrectly repeatedly. Will fix in the morning. (edit: fixed!)
Anyway, it’s good to be back. I’ve gotten some link love this week and I really appreciate it (namely, in a thread on this post about being trans in fandom, which is a good read. Clarification, though: right now I only have one character who identifies as transgender, Maria. But there are certainly more on the way).
Sorry for the little break there. My weekends are clear for a while, so hopefully Joss Whedon puppy can have a rest.

↓ TranscriptWREN: But… you’re enrolled at Hampshire.
CANDICE: …No, you know I transferred to UC Berkley. I got accepted for architecture, and they have a Disability Studies minor – it’s my ideal program.
WREN: You can’t just DECIDE you’re going to Berkley now. It’s July!
CANDICE: Uh, I didn’t “just decideâ€. We talked about this. In April.
WREN: Yeah, and I said I wanted to stay with you, and I RECALL you agreeing!
CANDICE: I assumed you meant long-distance, Wren!
WREN: Why would you think that I would want a long-distance relationship? Don’t you know how terrible I am at communication?
Nooo, don’t go to Berkely! Hampshire is the best!
Though, admittedly, not the place I would choose to study architecture…
